I've been the worst blogger ever! I started a new job this week and have been working on my new interior blog (it hasn't launched yet!).
This was for celebrating my first day on the job, my bf took me out to dinner and drinks. As a bonus it was 70 degrees out and we got to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather! My new job is so awesome, its all young people and mostly girls-somewhere i can really see myself working in years to come!

Found this etsy site the other day and can't stop thinking about all the cute cats. I just love cats, especially black ones since i have a black cutie! The non-cutsie look makes them perfect, plus the 'brushed' texture really adds interest. I love the idea of the first dress, Leah will custom make it based on your dimensions. I would get it a bit longer and more fitted, but still with the fullness. Would be perfect for a rehearsal dinner, wink!

I don't know about you but i always thought of American Eagle as a 'teenage' store. Seeing as i'm a twenty something, it wasn't really on my radar. Then i came across these pants in Seventeen mag, (it's my sisters i swear!) and thought 'hmm seems just like what i'm looking for'. They are semi loose, casual, and the perfect green color, all for about forty smackers. I also stumbled upon these pom pom flats while surfing the site. (I'm not a flats girl but you gotta get one pair every year, so here they are, for about $30). American Eagle you've reeled me back in!

Family Chic.

I love plants around the house, actually i love them everywhere! I'm a huge fan of making my own plant groupings and terrariums, and have actually been told not to get anymore. (You've heard this all before.) But when i saw these plant ideas on Family Chic i just knew i must try them! The vintage rhinestone 'plant jewelry' might be a bit blingy in my house but the idea is just magnificent. I'm thinking of doing it with vintage amber pins for a subtler spin. The colander idea is just so sweet and country kitchen feeling.

I'm moving all my interior ideas over to a new blog, so i can focus on fashion stuff here. Stay tuned.

Loving this sort of spring dressing for when the weather turns nice. Three fourth length sleeves and shorts balance out the cooler and warmer parts of the day in spring. The mix of sweet and proper stripes and sandals looks so good mixed with 'tougher' silver jewelry. Loving these fun tap shorts with more refined items, makes you feel so pulled together.

Say hello to my new Franco Sarto's, just about as perfect a summer 'everything' shoe as you can find. Usually i go for a nude summer sandal, but since my closet is chalk full of those i decided to get for black. They look even better in person, i'll show you soon!

Wanting to dress like this all the time lately. Simple, chic, great fitting clothing. Although i'll never give up a great statement dress, or a loud print, i think i'm really coming into my own with this 'simpler' dressing. Gap 'real straight' jeans in a dark wash, a striped tee or sweater, and a pair of wedges has become my uniform. I always like to mix it up with a bright pink or red lip and a bit of statement jewelry. Wait till summer and i'm going to be praising the giant floral prints and Mexican embroidery, ah how the seasons change.

Wishing i was on a road trip with my girlfriends! Stuffing everything you possibly can in to the truck, wearing totally inappropriate outfits like fur coats and chiffon dresses, and spending quality girl time having an adventure. But alas i am at work, slaving away over a never ending to do list, hey you gotta dream right?

I have a little secret, i have a shoe problem! I already more than can fit in my closet (and scattered around my house, and car, and where ever else i can store them), but i still want more! I am constantly window shoe shopping, although not a bad habit, window shopping does lead to some unhealthy obsessions, thus turning in to purchases.

These three pairs of sandals describe my summer shoes. Anything with a wood bottom, and a wedge or chunky heel has me drooling. Throw in the ability to go from day to night and i'm sold. One of these three will probably be heading to my, overstuffed, closet soon!

V A C A T I O N.

Just got back from a fab vacation, sorry for the lack of posting! For christmas one of my presents was a warm weather trip with my mom, well this was it! It was great to have lots of girl time. We did tons of bike riding, shopping, laying by the pool, and i even got my mom to relax and have a drink!

While shopping i even came upon this Betsey Johnson suit, which i had posted about for this vacation, and tried it on. Well its not quite as cute on, so i left to store with out it. But we had tons of fun together on our girls only trip!
